CTCA Weekly - June 25, 2018
Hello CTCA families..
It's been an exciting first few weeks of Summer. CTCA'S 2018 Summer Program is officially underway. Our new Principal, Mrs. Christina Defensor, has already begun moving into her new office in the Main Building. She'll be on campus throughout the Summer so feel free to pop in to say hello if you get a chance. Joining us this Summer is Mrs. Kristin Molina, our new 4th/5th grade teacher. Be sure to introduce yourself when you see her. Ms. Shirlyn's last day in Preschool was last Friday. We know the Little Lions will miss her very much. It's a good thing she won't be too far away when she starts teaching Kindergarten this Fall on the Day School side. Lastly, CTCA is thrilled to welcome our newest staff member, Lucia Altamira "Ms. Lucy", who will be taking over the Little Lion's class in July.
There are still spots available in CTCA'S 2018 Summer Program for students entering 1st - 9th Grade. The program is open to CTCA students AND non-CTCA students. Tell your friends and join us this Summer for fun, friendship, and great memories. Download a registration packet, or pick one up in the Main Office today.
Our Preschool Graduation Ceremony will take place this Saturday, June 30th at 10:00 AM in the Chapel for our preschoolers that will be heading into Kindergarten this Fall. Parents of graduating students: Please have your student arrive at 9:30 AM on Saturday. Families bringing cookies for the reception may bring them to the Main Office on Friday or on Saturday before the ceremony begins.
Enrollment continues for the 2018-19 School Year. Refer a friend to our school and receive a $100 credit upon their enrollment.
Yearbooks are still available for purchase in the Main Office for only $45.
Parent Volunteers: As mandated by the State of California, Department of Social Services: ALL parents and grandparents who wish to volunteer or spend an extended amount of time with our Preschool Students during school regular hours (this includes birthday celebrations) are REQUIRED to have:
- Proof of a Negative TB Test or Chest X-ray
- MMR Vaccination (Measles/Mumps/Rubella)
- Tdap Vaccination (Diptheria/Tetanus/Pertussis)
- A recent flu shot (required annually)
- A completed Background Check ($9, can be billed to your account)
Parents who wish to volunteer with our Day School Students are only required to complete a Background Check. Forms are available in the Main Office. $9 fee can be billed to your account.
