Mrs. Mayeski, School Principal
As the School Principal, Mrs. Mayeski loves learning and every subject is her favorite. For this reason, she is very passionate about Christ the Cornerstone Academy (CTCA) where students have the opportunity to learn to read, write, and become competent in math - students also learn about social studies, history, science, learn to love music, explore art, become competent with technology, and learn to keep their bodies in good physical shape.
Attending San Diego State University, Mrs. Mayeski earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and was a Phi Beta Kappa member. Attending Concordia University, she earned a degree in Lutheran Teaching Colloquy.
Working in the educational field for over 15 years, Mrs. Mayeski entered the educational field because she wants students to be as excited and passionate about learning as she is. She enjoys watching children learn to think, explore, problem solve, and grow in knowledge in all subjects. Specifically, she became the school administrator at CTCA because she wants all students to be able to grow in the Love and Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, to know him as Savior and Lord, have the assurance that they are forgiven, and have the promise of eternal life.
What is Mrs. Mayeski’s philosophy of education? “Learning is exciting and I want our students to fall in love with, and have a passion for learning. Each of us is a unique and special child of God. I believe we have created a safe learning environment where our students build a spiritual and academic foundation that helps prepare them for life.”
When asked what her favorite bible passage or verse is, Mrs. Mayeski answered “Proverbs 16:33, commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”
