Mrs. Nancy, Preschool Teacher
Attending Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska, Nancy earned a B.S. Degree in Education. When asked what her favorite subject to teach is, she responded, “I enjoy teaching the reading process. The joy reading gives students are immeasurable. Sharing Bible truths and seeing children develop their love of Jesus gives joy to my teaching time.”
Working in the educational field for over 43 years, Nancy became a teacher because great teachers influenced her and she felt God’s calling. She started teaching at CTCA because God provided her the opportunity to be part of the family. Prior to teaching at CTCA, she taught Kindergarten through 8th grade.
What is Nancy’s philosophy of education? “I believe in meeting children where they are and helping them develop the gifts God has given them.”
When asked what her favorite bible passage or verse is (and what it means to her), Nancy answered “Jeremiah 29:11 no matter what happens, God has good plans for me.”
An interesting fact about Nancy, most people may not know, is she was active in 4-H with her children helping them raise pigs and sheep.
Some of Nancy’s hobbies include reading, yard work, and watching movies. She has been married to Loren for over 29 years, having two grown children Janelle and Austin.
