SCHOOL SUPPORT

Fundraisers

Numerous types of fundraisers are on-going throughout the school year for various purposes. Participation is voluntary and very much appreciated. The following is a list of some of the programs:

  • SCRIP: Individuals purchase gift certificates directly from CTC and use them at local retailers, restaurants, gas stations, etc. For every $100 sold the school earns approximately $5.

  • CAMPBELL SOUP PROGRAM: Labels from Campbell soup and other products are collected to earn points for educational products.

  • BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION: Sponsored by General Mills Foods. Box tops are collected from General Mill's products. Credit is issued to the school for the purpose of acquiring school equipment and materials.

  • STUDENT STORE: The Student Council sponsors this program and determines which school-related project the proceeds will go towards. Snack items are sold.

  • ANNUAL WRAPPING PAPER SALES: This is a major fundraiser and is usually done at the beginning of the school year.

  • CTC EVENTS: These fundraisers (garage sale, pasta dinner, Harvest Festival) Monies raised are used for a variety of predetermined projects, educational supplies, etc.

  • ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS: Discounts, two for one offers and other coupons offered for one low purchase price.

  • CTCA TECHNOLOGY FUNDRAISER: Save and collect all used ink cartridges from computer printers and fax machines. Also don't throw away your old cell phones! Bring these to CTC so we can get money for these!
