Homework Policy

All students will be expected to do reasonable amounts of work each week. This is established by the classroom teacher and is intended to reinforce concepts learned. If the time taken is unreasonable, please contact the teacher. Absent work is expected to be completed within the given time and incomplete work may result in grade reduction. The classroom teacher should be contacted if this is a concern.

Parents or guardians are expected to take an active role in seeing that their child's assigned homework is completed, and to provide an opportunity for completing the task.

The following may result in a disciplinary action such as detention.
Detention will be served after regular school hours in a designated detention area.

• Failure to complete homework assignments (four assignments)
• Failure to make up assignments and tests after an absence
