Field Trips & Outdoor Education
Field Trips
Field trips will be planned throughout the school year. Prior to each trip, a permission
slip will be sent home with your child. It must be signed and returned in order for the child
to participate.
In order to insure the safety of each child, the following rules will be enforced:
- All children will be required to wear a seat belt; or be in a child restraint seat if
under age six and under 60 pounds.
- Children, 4th grade and under, will not be allowed to occupy a passenger seat with an airbag.
- Drivers must submit proof of insurance.
- All children will be required to wear school shirts.
- Every other year the fourth and fifth graders travel to Sacramento to study California
history
Outdoor Education
In the fall, all upper grade students are given the opportunity to participate in a weeklong
outdoor education program at a Christian Camp. The purpose is to help children to "know and
grow" in our Lord while experiencing exciting and challenging activities they may never have
experienced before.
