This CHAT server is for Christ the Cornerstone and educational use only.
Please remember Christ our Lord in your chat.
Teachers may set up a scheduled date and time to have
a short (30-minute) online discussion of a research topic with students after school hours.
To CHAT with the Staff:
*Nickname or Handle is assigned by your teacher for your safety.
To get help in using this Chat feature, type "/help" inside the message box while in chat.
You will get the following Chat commands.
/msg [nickname] [message]
/nick [newnick]
/me [action]
/whois [nickname] - get info on a user
/away [message] - mark yourself away
/back - nullifies away status
/quit - exits
DON'T FORGET TO TYPE "/quit" INSIDE THE MESSAGE BOX IF YOU EXIT CHAT OR
ELSE YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO USE YOUR REAL NAME WHEN YOU
RETURN TO THE SAME SESSION.
IF YOUR REAL NAME IS IN USE, USE A NUMERICAL SUFFIX (IE. RYAN2) AS AN
ALTERNATIVE.
Abuse of this CHAT server may result in withdrawal
of CHAT privileges for everyone involved. Students use of this CHAT must
be pre-approved by parents. Parents, please "closely" monitor your
children's use of the computer especially the Internet
at all times. Please educate them on
Internet Safety.
Limit use of chat for a maximum of 30 minutes in one day.
