Mrs. DiSabatino, Kindergarten Teacher
Attending Concordia University, Irvine for her undergraduate and Cal State San Marcos for her Credentials and Graduate Work, Adrienne received her Christian Education Leadership Degree and a Masters in Education. Her favorite subject to teach is the Bible because it is the guidebook for life and Social Studies because it stimulates the student’s imagination.
Working in the educational field for over seven years, Adrienne fell into teaching and is thankful that God has not pulled her out. Specifically, she decided to take the kindergarten teaching position at CTCA when a friend, who worked at the school, referred her stating it was a great place to teach. Prior to teaching at CTCA she taught Kindergarten at another Lutheran school.
What is Adrienne’s philosophy of education? “To do my best to show love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. If I can do this, then my students will learn by example.”
When asked what her favorite bible passage or verse is (and what it means to her), Adrienne answered, “Psalm 145:17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways and loving toward all he has made. I love this verse because God, in all his sinlessness, can still love me though a sinner I be.”
An interesting fact about Adrienne, most people may not know, is that she makes awesome lettuce bread.
Some of Adrienne’s hobbies include running, raising chickens, hiking, eating international food, and traveling to faraway lands.
