Mrs. Isabelle, Art Teacher
Teaching Art to CTCA students is a deep-rooted passion for Isabelle. Attending San Diego State University, she received a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies. “Art, it is exciting to see the students imagination come to life. I am always amazed at their talent.”
Working in the educational field for over five years, Isabelle became a teacher because she enjoys seeing the students grow and figure things out independently. At CTCA Isabelle especially likes the small class sizes and the strict (yet nurturing and loving) environment.
What is Isabelle’s philosophy of education? “In art, I think it is important to give students a lot of room to freely express themselves with guidance from the teacher.”
When asked what her favorite bible passage or verse is (and what it means to her), Isabella answered “John 3:16, it is the ultimate proof of God’s love for us.”
An interesting fact about Isabelle, most people may not know, is that she was born and raised in Sweden and has now been in the United States for over 11 years.
Isabelle is married and some of her hobbies include spending time with her family and going to Disneyland.
